Following the three-year-olds
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Two more races restricted to three-year-old will be up for decision on Saturday, April 2, 2022.
THE QUICK GALLOPER continues to follow the three-year-olds, with the second of these races - a maiden special weight going a mile.
1 - ASURETY is a three-year-old chestnut gelding (March 9) by Perfect Curlin out of Sure To Cure trained by Anthony Nunes. Asurety will have to produce a career-best performance to succeed.
2 – GREAT TRICK is a bay colt (March 20) by Casual Trick out of Great Faith trained by Patrick Lynch. Great Faith hit the race track for the first time 14 days ago and still has a lot to learn.
3 – DEVONTE is a three-year-old grey colt (April 8) by Fearless Vision out of Eighteen Karat trained by Anthony Nunes. Devonte might find this trip not to his liking based on his past performances but with nothing much around he will be able to hit the board.
4 – MASTERCLASS is a three-year-old bay gelding (March 22) by Casual Trick out of Awesome Destiny trained by Gary Subratie. Still earning his spurs.
5 – SALUTE THE DEPUTY is a three-year-old bay gelding (April 20) by Deputy Glitters out of No Pain No Gain trained by Michael Marlowe. Salute The Deputy has a long way to go.
6 – EL CID is a three-year-old chestnut gelding (April 21) by Soul Warrior out of Wap trained by Anthony Nunes. El Cid will enjoy every inch of this mile trip. When El Cid last raced on March 13, he was just edged out by Thirtyonekisses going 7 ½ furlongs. Plus, his trainer has decided to put the cheekpieces on.

SECRET EMPEROR is a three-year-old bay gelding (February 16) by Emperor Hall out of Secret Cat trained by Carl Anderson. He finished fourth on debut 20 days ago, and has been progressing well at exercise, and is touted to have a significant impact on the outcome.
