8 First Timers Race On Sunday, May 5, 2024

KINGSTON, Jamaica - The race day of Sunday, May 5, 2024, sees eight horses, all three-year-olds, making their debut.

The list is provided below. 

SHE’S THAT GIRL is a chestnut filly (February 24) by Sensational Slam out of Palace Gold, trained by Steven Todd with Robert Halledeen in the saddle. Note that that She’s That Girl races with the tongue tie on.

CHINITA ESTRELLA is a bay filly (March 9) by Sunshine N Shadow out of Chinitagoodaz, trained by Steven Todd with Jordan Barrett riding. Note that Chinita was originally nominated to race on Saturday, May 4, 2024.

LINSTEAD MARKET is a chestnut colt (April 18) by Patton Proud out of Royal Beauty, trained by Gary Subratie with Richard Henry aboard. Note that Linstead Market races with first time Lasix.

TRUST FUND BABY is a chestnut filly (March 10) by Hedge Fund out of Swaby Baby, trained by Anthony Nunes with Robert Halledeen holding the reins. Note that Trust Fund Baby races with the blinkers and tongue tie on, plus first time Lasix.

GOLDEN LAWYER is a bay colt (April 16) by Golden Ron out of The Lincoln Lawyer, trained by Patrick Lynch with Shavon Townsend in the saddle. Note that Golden Lawyer races with the figure eight on.

RESTORATION is a bay colt (May 14) by Sunshine N Shadow out of Lady Macbeth, trained by Anthony Nunes with Raddesh Roman aboard. Note that Restoration races with the tongue tie and figure on, plus first time Lasix.

WENG WENG is a bay colt (March 27) by Sunshine N Shadow out of Sarah Barracuda, trained by Anthony Nunes with Garfield Gordon holding the reins. Note that Weng Weng races with the tongue tie and the figure eight on.

ABREATRHOFFRESHAIR is a bay colt (March 12) by Perfect Curlin out of City Flight, trained by Phillip Lee with no jockey nominated to ride as yet. Note that Abreathoffreshair races tongue tie and figure eight on.
