KINGSTON, Jamaica – Division Two of the two maiden condition races is scheduled as the fifth on the Sunday card of August 28, 2022.
THE QUICK GALLOPER’S take on the 10 horses nominated in this five furlongs round event is carried below.
– CODE OF CONDUCT is a bay filly (February 3) by Midnight Hawk out of Amicable trained by Gresford Smith with Aaron Chatrie aboard. This filly has been showing up in her recent races. She has looked improved at exercise and can play a role in the outcome. Note, Code of Conduct races with the tongue tie on and the figure 8 off.
– FRIENDOFTHEFAMILY is a grey gelding (April 27) by Here Comes Ben out of Win Bracelet trained by Junior Small with Richard Henry aboard. Has been fitted with the visor in recent times at exercise, and has looked improved. Lookout for a better run by Friendofthefamily, but not a winning one.
– SHE’S HALL DAT is a chestnut filly (March 9) by Market Rally out of No Assembly Required trained by Al Brown with Raddesh Roman aboard. Returned after a long break seven days ago, finishing in sixth place. With that pipe opener under her saddle, She’s Hall Dat is ready for that winning effort. Note, She’s Hall Dat races with the tongue tie on.
– AKA STORM is a bay colt (April 23) by Storm Craft out of Kandi With A K trained by Patrick Lynch with Jerome Innis in the saddle. While giving no encouragement in his five career starts, AKA is being listed by THE QUICK GALLOPER as a viable outsider, especially for the exotic wagers. Note, AKA Storm races with the figure 8 on.
– GIMEMETHELIGHT is a grey colt (March 9) by Nasheet out of Skipping Sue trained by Gary Griffiths with Prince Holder aboard. Realistically has no real chance of winning this one.
– POTENTIAL is a bay colt (January 24) by Traditional out of Breath of Life trained by Patrick Lynch with Dane Dawkins aboard. Trainer Lynch has taken off the blinkers and has again called on the services of the leading rider. These are indicators that Potential is prepared to give a fighting effort. Note, Potential races with the blinkers off.
– COTTERWOOD KATHY is a grey filly (May 24) by Midnight Hawk out of Princess Shaneil trained by Ryan Darby with Matthew Bennett aboard. The best this filly can do is a place on the board.
– OOH SO LONG is a bay filly (May 27) by Force De Jour out of Oolong trained by Gary Subratie with Andre Powell in the saddle. Has no real chance of challenging the principals.
– CALL THE EMPEROR is a bay gelding (April 1) by Emperor Hall out of Call For A Cat trained by Carl Anderson with Roger Hewitt aboard. Needs time. Note, Call The Emperor races with the blinkers on and the figure 8 off.
– FUNOMETER is a dark bay colt by Traditional out of Opulent trained by Anthony Nunes with Tevin Foster aboard. Did not perform up to expectation on August 13, when finishing fifth behind Fearless Fire. That was Funometer’s first start since April 18, and with that effort, he should now be sharper and ready to deliver for his connections.
