KINGSTON, Jamaica – Four-year-old bay filly Make Up Artist made it three wins from three career starts with another blazing run to get the Caymanas Monday (June 21) programme on its way.

Racing for the first time at the four-year-old and upwards (non-winners of three) level, at 6 ½ furlongs, Make Up Artist was ridden to this victory by regular rider Anthony Thomas for trainer Jason DaCosta.

Make Up Artist was settled in second when the gates opened as Kholbear (Chris Mamdeen) lead the field of 10 runners.

After 1 ½ furlongs were completed, Thomas decided it was time and sent Make Up Artist to the front and from then the race became a procession.

In the straight, Make Up Artist cut a lonely figure, as the Adore The Gold – Lipstick Lily offspring went on to win by 12 ¼ lengths.

Attorney General (Aaron Chatrie) was second and Lava Boy (Dane Dawkins) third.

The winning time was 1:20.3.
