KINGSTON, Jamaica – Although having to come from behind, 3-5 favourite Commandante Lunar ran out an easy winner of the Caymanas Tuesday fourth which was just completed at Caymanas Park.
The leader from the off was Nina Dorado (Samantha Fletcher) who carried the field to the three-furlong point when Mighty Chelsea to enter the straight with the advantage.
At this stage Commandante Lunar was well behind the pace setters but in the lane Youville Pinnock got the favourite alongside the inside rails and it was over and done with for the rest with a furlong remaining to be run.
Mister A (Dane Dawkins) at 30-1 was second with Another Cookie (Dane Nelson) third.
