KINGSTON, Jamaica –The St Elizabeth Distaff is one of the three major races on the Jamaica Day race card.

This Overnight Allowance call for three-year-olds and up spans a mile.

As we continue our focus on Jamaica Day, let's revisit the 2022 St Elizabeth Distaff and explore the progress of the six starters, listed in finishing order.

FIRST – She's My Destiny: Since winning the Distaff, She's My Destiny has made significant progress and is now among the leading competitors. She recently won the seven-furlong Gold Cup, defeating top contender Mahogany. It remains uncertain whether She's My Destiny will participate in the 2023 Jamaica Day program, with her best option being the Port Royal Sprint.

SECOND – Make Up Artist: Plagued by injuries throughout her career, Make Up Artist went to stud shortly after the 2022 St. Elizabeth Distaff but sadly passed away.

THIRD – Lure of Lucy: This foreign contender completed a one-two-three finish for their trainer in this race. Lure of Lucy continues competing effectively, although without many victories. She appears on the provisional list of starters for the 2023 St. Elizabeth Distaff.

FOURTH –Sweet Majesty: Has won some races at good odds, but is yet to be a dominant factor.

FIFTH - ARTESIA: Not much has happened for Artesia since finishing fourth in this race, but she remains in competition.

SIXTH – Alexa's Dream: Alexa's Dream is still trying her best, without much success.
