FIRST – SALUTE THE DON
Starting at odds of 7-5, Salute The Don and went on to win this first 2025 engagement. Since then, he has compiled nine starts with three victories, highlighted by success in the Classic 2000 Guineas. He also placed third in the Thornbird and second in the St Leger. The Jamaica Derby proved beyond his stamina, finishing tenth of 16 over 12 furlongs. With career earnings just shy of $6 million, Salute The Don has established himself as a quality mid-range performer, likely to complete his conditions before stepping into Overnight Allowance company.
SECOND – FIDELITY
After his promising debut, Fidelity has found progress elusive. He continues to battle through his three-year-old conditions without notable advancement.
THIRD – MAYBELLE
Maybelle has failed to live up to early expectations. Despite multiple attempts, she has yet to secure a win, and prospects of a breakthrough remain slim in the immediate future.
FOURTH – TIA MARIA
Has not developed as anticipated. Tia Maria’s record stands at two wins from nine starts, with career earnings just over $1.5 million. While capable, she has not yet blossomed into a consistent force.
FIFTH – MY FRIEND MICKI
Seventeen starts have yielded no victories. My Friend Micki remains in search of her first success, with patience wearing thin.
SIXTH – AWINGANDAPRAYER
Still active but without meaningful results. Awingandaprayer continues to linger on the margins, offering little to suggest imminent improvement.
SEVENTH – GREEN PAINT
Recently returned from a lengthy absence, Green Paint has hinted at potential. With time and conditioning, she gives the impression of eventually breaking her maiden.
