KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jamaican jockey Neville Stephenson enjoyed one of better days at the Assiniboia Downs race track in Canada on Wednesday, July 17, 2025.
Stephenson started in race two, scoring atop the Jared Brown trained Wecanonlyimagine. Fellow Jamaican Dane Dawkins finished second.
The post-race report reads as follows: “WECANONLYIMAGINE had outside speed under pressure, opened up before the turn, was never in doubt from the turn home.”
He quickly followed up in the third on Big Ticket trained by Larry Cizik.
