With Dick Cardenas in the saddle for champion trainer Anthony Nunes, Legit Boss in the field of nine was off to a fast start and was never challenged thereafter. Stablemate Volatility (Tevin Foster) tried her best as did the 4-5 favourite Thalita (Anthony Thomas but Legit Boss was too far behind.
