KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Saturday card (December 7) got off well for punters as the 7-5 chance Two Steps Up was able to get the job done.

Ridden by Linton Steadman and trained by veteran Randolph, Two Steps Up drawn on the wide outside in a $180,000 claiming event run over three-furlongs straight, got moving in the final furlong and was able to nab Determine King (Youville Pinnock - 1-1) in the glass.

Two Steps Up got home by a neck. Lola Grey (Daniel Satchell – 2-1) was third.

This was the third winner for the season for trainer Scott.

This race also marked the first appearance of some of the new apprentices who recently graduated from Jockeys’ School.
