KINGSTON, Jamaica – Top Eagle closed a well earned double for jockey Youville Pinnock in the Caymanas Monday fifth at odds 3-1, the longest on the day thus far.
Top Eagle gained his seventh victory from 87 starts in a three-year-old and up Claimer at $250,000 - $200,000) travelling 6 ½ furlongs.
Soon after the starter let the horses go, Top Eagle (Youville Pinnock) was hurried to set the fractions and thereafter the Victor Williams trainee maintained a consistent gallop to earn the win for his connections.
Second was Twilight Storm (Samantha Fletcher) with Bigman Union (Anthony Thomas) third.
Top Eagle provided trainer Williams with his seventh win of the season.
