KINGSTON, Jamaica – Wow Wow a bay colt by Casual Trick – Sarah Barracuda after finishing second behind England’s Rose in the first two-year-old race of the season on June 29, went one better, when he easily took the first race on offer of the nine on the Saturday programme at Caymanas Park just moments ago.
Ridden by Ameth Robles and trained by Gary Subratie, Wow Wow as the 4-5 second favourite racing in a maiden special weight for juveniles going three furlongs left gate two in a hurry and thereafter pulled away from his five rivals to win by four lengths still going away.
Second went to 2-5 on favourite Dejae’s Boy (Phillip Parchment) with the third spot occupied by Colawill Romario Smith).
The winning time for three furlongs was 36.0 seconds.
