KINGSTON, Jamaica – Racing for the sixth time, US importee Pretty Cash found the winning post in front in the Caymanas Saturday ninth.

Pretty Cash achieved her first win in a three-year-old maiden contest for local bred horses and a non-winners of two for foreigners going five furlongs straight.

With jockey Dane Dawkins in the saddle for trainer Gary Subratie, Pretty Cash raced the entire trip on the outside rails, reaching her top stride in the last two furlongs when the horses came onto the main track.

Dawkins had to pull out all the stops to get Pretty Cash home as King’s Magician (Linton Steadman) came with a burst in the final stage of the race.

Pretty Cash was able to hold that challenge winning by a neck. True Bravado (Matthew Bennett) finished third.

Pretty Cash was the second winner on the day for Dawkins.
