KINGSTON, Jamaica – Ten of the best three-year-olds currently in training will parade before the stands and then enter the starting gates for the 102rd running of the Jamaica Derby (12-furlongs) scheduled for Saturday next (August 6) at Caymanas Park.
The list of ten is led by the two leaders of the grouping Blue Vinyl and Atomica. The former is seeking the ultimate glory in race, the Triple Crown. Atomica is the only filly in the event. Blue Vinyl is drawn at eight and Atomica at six.
The 10 Derby bound horses with their psot-positions, weights, jockeys and trainers are published below.
