Five horses are set to face the starter in the third of nine scheduled races on the local card for Saturday, June 21, 2025.

This event is open to locally bred three- and four-year-olds who haven’t won more than three races, and to foreign-bred contenders in the non-two category.

The race will be contested over seven and a half furlongs.

Rideallday

The clear standout. Rideallday has been showcasing a sharp upward trajectory with back-to-back eye-catching efforts. His latest victory—a runaway 7¼-length demolition job over 5½ furlongs—signalled a colt who’s found his rhythm. What’s most exciting is his late burst: his acceleration inside the final two furlongs displayed a tactical weaponry that few at this level can replicate. Saturday marks his first outing with Lasix, a development that could further sharpen his edge. If he handles the added distance as expected, he’ll likely control the race in the final quarter-mile.

Blu Sensation

The lone locally bred runner, Blu Sensation faces a daunting task. Now up against import competition that’s already shown greater speed and staying power, this gelding will need everything to go right to factor. A strong finish—even if not a win—would be a step forward.

Miss Grove

While pedigree hints at middle-distance potential, Miss Grove has yet to flash any meaningful ability since arriving on local shores. Her adaptation phase may still be ongoing, and unless something clicks suddenly on race day, she is going to find it difficult.

Riches To Rags

A veteran of 22 starts, Riches To Rags brings experience to the table.  At best, she’s a contender for second place.

Fearless Mission

Eleven starts, one win, and little to suggest this is his breakout moment. Fearless Mission appears overmatched against horses like Rideallday.  For now, he’d need to surprise the field—and the formbook—to threaten.

Pace and Strategy Outlook

If Rideallday settles comfortably and tracks early, his turn-of-foot should prove decisive.

 Bottom Line

The smart money lands on Rideallday to dominate again—especially with Lasix likely to enhance his performance. The rest are running for place honours.
