KINGSTON, Jamaica – Apprentice Anthony Allen continued his recent form with a well-timed ride to win the first race of 2020 on the Dennis Lee trained Super Amia just moments ago at Caymanas Park.

It was a long waiting period of 27 starts for Super Amia to release the maiden tag in four-year-old and upwards contest run over five furlongs.

Odds on 1-5, Jensuneera Steel (Raddesh Roman) shot into the lead when the gates opened followed by Super Amia.

Jensuneera Steel held the gallop well and came into the straight with Super Amia now tracking closely.

It was a brief battle in the straight, as Allen drove Super Amia by the leader and then moved away to win by three and a half lengths.

Jensuneera Steel was second with Kaka My Love (Ramon Nepare) third.
