Super Amia wins Caymanas Boxing Day fourth at 5-1

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Super Amia trained by Dennis Lee raced to the lead under the guidance of apprentice Jordan Barrett and then had to hold off the late effort of Uncle Vernon into order to be victorious in the Caymanas Boxing Day fourth.

Third went to Custer (Nicholas Hibbert) after the 3-2 favourite Blind Faith stumbled out of the box to finish fifth.

Super Amia started at odds of 5-1.

This was Barrett’s eighth winner this season and the ninth for Lee.
