KINGSTON, Jamaica - With a maximum field of 16 allowed in any one race at Caymanas Park, the race is truly on to get a place in that 16 for the season's next Classic, the 10-furlong St Leger. Horses qualify to run in these races based on career stakes earned. The St Leger is scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 3, 2021.
Based on the list provided today, by the promoting company, there are at least two new entries in the top 16 list of preliminary runners for this year's St Leger.
The two that have garnered attention are the Ian Parsard trained Big Jule and She's My Destiny trained by Jason DaCosta.
