KINGSTON, Jamaica – Three-year-old chestnut colt, Father Patrick turned his good exercise gallops into a smashing winning debut moments ago at Caymanas Park in the day’s fourth race.
Racing on the outside in a field of three-year-old maidens venturing over five and a half furlongs, Father Patrick with Omar Walker in the saddle quickly circled his 13 rivals and pulled further and further away to score by five lengths in a fast 1:06.2 with fast splits of 23.1 x 45.4. Father Patrick was Walker’s first winning ride in 2019.
Second went to another first timer Extruder with the well raced Roy Rogers in third place.
