KINGSTON, Jamaica – With jockey Omar Walker at his very best, Solid Approach made a surge inside the last 1 ½ furlongs to catch and beat long time front runner Patriarch (Dane Nelson) in commanding fashion to make it three wins on the trot for the American bred chestnut filly.

Walker could not go with the searing splits of 22.3 x 45.3 set by the speedy Patriarch who took the turn for home with a good enough lead and with Nelson pumping as hard as ever.

When Solid Approach, who was skipping a grade started to roll, it was a joy to watch as she accelerated with aplomb and, in the end, won by two lengths.

Patriarch was second with outsider Wilson finishing third.

Note that Walker has been the jockey aboard Solid Approach for her three consecutive wins.
