The ninth race on Saturday, 22 November 2025, is Division One of the feature on the day, the Racehorse Aftercare Trophy.
This trophy event is for three-year-olds and upwards at the Overnight Allowance level. The distance is five furlongs straight.
Nine horses are entered in Division One, with the Quick Galloper’s assessment of the possible outcome provided below.
1 - COMEHOMETOME
Has not fared well since entering Overnight Allowance, as with four starts at this level, Comehometome has not done enough to suggest winning is a possibility in this one. Moreover, being drawn at one coming down the straight will not aid her cause.
2 - KING’S CROWN
Still learning what life is like at this level.
3 - STRIKE SMART
Making his debut in Overnight after four wins from 30 starts. A new learning curve has begun for Strike Smart. He races with the tongue tie and cheekpieces fitted.
4 - BULLETPROOFCOFFEE
Finished two lengths in second place behind Get A Pepsi over this distance in a sharp 58.3 on 19 October. Bulletproofcoffee has won all four of his races at this trip and is once again expected to put in a sterling effort.
5 - CHOCOMO
This foreigner has gone completely off the boil in his last three runs. Chocomo goes well over the straight, and with the apprentice claiming four kilogrammes his chances are enhanced. He will have to significantly improve his form, but he cannot be dismissed.
6 - TEFLON DON
A known front-runner who made noticeable progress when finishing third, four lengths behind Dothraki and Digital One over five and a half furlongs. Teflon Don does fairly well coming down the straight and is expected to be in contention at decision time.
7 - UNRULY MO
Offered nothing in the recent Port Royal Sprint over six furlongs where he finished last of eight runners. Dropping in class here, Unruly Mo is expected to put in a better performance.
8 - MIGHTY GULLY
This three-year-old has done well to reach the Overnight level with four wins from 13 starts. She will come good with time.
9 - NORBLAR
Has worked impressively coming into this race. While Norblar is not expected to win, he should make his presence felt.
THE QUICK GALLOPER’S VERDICT
Bulletproofcoffee is the clear choice to lift Division One of the Racehorse Aftercare Trophy, with Teflon Don and Chocomo the main dangers. Norblar is the dark horse who could surprise by grabbing a minor placing.
