KINGSTON, Jamaica – Accelerating with gusto in the straight Sencity under the guidance of jockey Tevin Foster riding for trainer Gary Subratie flew by the leader Versatile Vision to win the Caymanas Saturday sixth without any fuss.
Sencity won her second race from her last three starts in a four-year-old and upwards (non-winners of two) call at seven furlongs.
Primal Fear (Oshane Nugent) blazed the early splits but after two furlongs Kholbear (Daniel Satchell) took over with Versatile Vision (Youville Pinnock) chasing nearby in third. Foster had Sencity positioned well behind in about sixth place. at this stage of the race. Pinnock then made his move on Versatile Vision just before turning into the lane as Foster had Sencity going on the outside.
In the last two furlongs, it was Versatile Vision on top but Sencity started to motor and shot by without a fuss winning by an expanding 4 ¼ lengths. Attorney General (Aaron Chatrie) ran on for second with Versatile Vision lasting for third.
