In a more measured five-year-old campaign under trainer Peter-John Parsard, top-class locally bred mare Run Julie Run returned to competitive action on Saturday, July 18, 2026, with a commanding performance.

The bay mare had made her seasonal debut on June 20 over five furlongs round, a trip far too sharp for her proven stamina. This time, she was stretched to a more preferred distance of nine furlongs and 25 yards, with Tajay Suckoo entrusted with the reins.

From the break, Suckoo wasted no time in sending Run Julie Run to the front, shadowed closely down the backstretch by Inspire Force (Tyrese Anderson). The mare travelled comfortably, Suckoo keeping a strong hold as she dictated fractions of 25.3, 49.1, 1:13.2, and 1:38.0.

Turning for home, Suckoo asked his mount to quicken, and Run Julie Run responded with authority. She entered the final two furlongs still unchallenged, only briefly opposed by stablemate Intrestntimesahead (Dane Dawkins), whose effort was not sufficient to cause any issues.

Run Julie Run pulled clear to score by 1½ lengths, securing a one-two finish for Parsard. Provident filled the third slot.

The final time was 1:52.0, marking career win number eight from 27 starts for Run Julie Run, whose earnings now approach $15.9 million.
