KINGSTON, Jamaica – Racing for the second time, Rojorn Di Pilot ridden by Omar Walker and trained by Wayne DaCosta won the first of 10 races on the mid-week card at Caymanas Park a short while ago.
Second was first time starter Enedina ridden by Dane Nelson with third going to the odds on favourite Toona Ciliata with Dick Cardenas in the saddle.
Rojorn Di Pilot won at even money, with Enedemia, a half-sister to top campaigner Campesino offering odds of 9-2 and Toona Ciliata at 1-5.
The winning time was 59.2 for the two-year-old maiden event over the five straight course. The winning margins were a head by 3 ¼ lengths.
