KINGSTON, Jamaica – Although still a maiden, foreigner Dyna’s Pride from the stables of trainer Gary Subratie is given the nod over her six rivals to take home the featured Joseph Armond Memorial Trophy.

The race is to be run over nine furlongs and 25 yards (1,820m) and is a Restricted Allowance event for non-winners of two (locals) and maiden foreigners.

Slowly but surely, Dyna’s Pride is coming on as she finished third over the same distance of today’s race behind Daddy’s Dilemma and Ricky Ricardo on November 14.

Then on December 1, Dyna’s Pride was second behind an out of class Brandy. With no Brandy around this time, Dyna’s Pride should find the winning post in front.

Main opposition should come from first timer in the class Giaconda and Nuclear Lava and Luminous Power.

Since breaking her maiden on September 8 over the same distance of this race, Nuclear Lava hasn’t really done anything in her next two starts but she was 2 ½ lengths fourth in that same race where Dyna’s Pride finished third on November 14 and if she can reproduce that effort then she might have a say here. One thing that is of positive, is that the fact that Dane Nelson has been called upon to do duties.

Luminous Power finished a good third behind Bad Boy Trump and Brandy on last over 7 ½ furlongs (1,500m) and another good run is expected here.

Giaconda, is from the barn of the real hot leading trainer, Anthony Nunes and this is enough recommendation right now.
