KINGSTON, Jamaica – Trainer Ian Alexander was able to land a rare winner when Princess Statistic under a superb ride by hot apprentice Raddesh Roman just won the sixth race at the Park.
Notably also Princess Statistic was drawn at post-position six in the $250,000 - $200,000 claiming event run over five furlongs round.
From the off, Princess Statistic shot to the lead by was harassed all the way by Princess Brianna (Oneil Mullings). Princess Brianna actually pointed in mid-stretch but Roman kept his mount going and Princess Statistic who went off at odds of 9-1, rallied to just hold off the challenge of Princess Brianna by a head
Third was Nuclear Commander.
The winning time was 1:03.4.
