Quick double for owner Carlton Watson as Cruising Motion ‘drives’ home in sixth

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The close owners’ championship involving Carlton Watson and Michros (Michael Bernard) took another twist following the win just moments ago by the Watson owned Cruising Motion in the day’s sixth race.

Michros started the day leading Watson by just over $500,000 but by winning the last two races with Fearless Champion and now Cruising Motion, Watson has regained a slight advantage.

Cruising Motion ridden by Phillip Parchment took over the lead in the five-furlong sprint event at the top of the straight and went on to win by three-parts of a length.

Second went to 9-1 chance Samora ridden by Devon A Thomas with the 38-1 Kunama finishing third.

Cruising Motion is trained by Johnny Wilmot.

The race won by Cruising Motion was a $$250,000 - $200-000 claimer.
