The Stewards announce the following disciplinary actions arising from inquiries held at the offices of the Jamaica Racing Commission, 8 Winchester Road, Kingston 10, on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.
Jockey PHILLIP PARCHMENT who rode JUPITER MAN in the first (1st) race on Saturday, 11th February, 2023 was fined Six Thousand Dollars ($6,000.00) for the intimidation and interference caused to BLUE PERSUASION in the vicinity of the 200-metre point.
Jockey CHRISTOPHER MAMDEEN who rode LETTERS IN GOLD in the eighth (8th) race on Saturday, 11th February, 2023 was fined Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) for the intimidation and interference caused to JJ WARRIOR approaching the 200-metre point that resulted in the disqualification of LETTERS IN GOLD.
