42% of races run won by favourites
KINGSTON, Jamaica – THE QUICK GALLOPER shares with readers the percentage of winning favourites for the three-month period, January 1 – March 31, 2022.
In January 2022, 68 races were contested with 27 winning favourites – 39.7 %.
In February 2022, 66 races were run with 24 winning favourites – 36.3%.
In March 2022, there were 70 races with 35 of those taken by favourites – 50%.
The total number of races run for the three-month period of January 1 to March 31, 2022, was 204 (68 + 66 + 70). Of those 204 races, 86 (27 + 24 + 35) were won by favourites – 42%.
