A bay yearling colt by Outshine out of Devine Lexie stole the spotlight at the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association (TOBA) Mixed Sale, held on December 7 in the Caymanas Park car park.

Top Price: The colt, consigned by Sandra Solomon, fetched the highest price of the sale at $5.2 million.

Sire Lineage: Outshine, by Malibu Moon out of Life Lesson, is a five-time winner in the United States with career earnings of just over $226,224. This marks his first crop of foals.

Dam Lineage: Devine Lexie, by Natural Selection out of Preach Preacher, produced her first registered foal with this colt. On the track, she secured four wins and earned more than $3 million.

Market Note: The Outshine colt was the only yearling to surpass the $4 million threshold at the sale.
