KINGSTON, Jamaica – Our Angel proved that she is the best of the 10 fillies who started in the 10-furlong Jamaica Oaks today at Caymanas Park.
Jockey Reyan Lewis, now a three-time Classic winner with double success in the Oaks having partnered She’s A Wonder to victory last year, played the waiting game until the horses reached the top of the straight.
Then the Robert Pearson trainee Our Angel found her groove to power away from rivals winning by all of five lengths.
Sunset Silhoutte (Anthony Thomas) finished second and Pelicula (Dane Dawkins) third.
