The upcoming seventh race on Saturday, May 11, 2024, features a field of six three-year-old maiden horses competing at a distance of seven furlongs.

Unfortunately, Supremasi has withdrawn from the race, leaving six contenders vying for victory.

First up is Smart Trick, a bay colt (February 1) by Casual Trick out of Crafty Lady trained by Anthony Nunes and ridden by Reyan Lewis. With two third-place finishes in his career, Smart Trick is showing steady improvement and is ready to seize the opportunity for a win in this longer race.

Next is Chief Dissident, a bay colt (February 1) by Casual Trick out of Crafty Lady trained by Patrick Lynch and ridden by Delroy Beharie. Chief Dissident has yet to show his potential in five previous races.

Rock-Ola, a chestnut colt (April 3) by Bold Conquest out of Kitty Hawk trained by Michael Marlowe and ridden by Oneil Mullings, is equipped with blinkers off, visor, and tongue tie on. With consistent performances and equipment changes, Rock-Ola is a strong contender for victory.

Hickory Slim, a chestnut colt (April 12) by Sensational Slam out of Mete-Orite trained by Ian Parsard and ridden by Oshane Nugent, races with cheek pieces on but has not met expectations so far. He may still have a chance to place in the race.

Mack And Rome, a bay colt (February 5) by Bold Conquest out of Gold Miner trained by Saqlain Roman and ridden by Robert Halledeen, has finished second in both of his previous starts. With experience racing over similar distances, Mack And Rome is poised for success in this race. It is now or never for Mack And Rome to prove his potential and secure a victory on the track.

Solo Black is a bay colt (March 14) by Northern Giant out of Late N Drafty, trained by Lawrence Freemantle with Richard Byrd holding the reins. Note that Solo Black races with the visor on. His learning curve continues.
