The eighth race on Saturday, May 11, 2024, is for three-year-old maidens at a distance of 5 ½ furlongs.

1 - BOLD SHADOW is a bay colt (March 25) by Sunshine N Shadow out of Charming Beauty, trained by Patrick Lynch with Robert Halledeen riding. Note that Bold Shadow races with the figure eight on. Bold Shadow is slowly finding his way after several on the board efforts in his 11 starts. The change of rider is also of significance. Watch Bold Shadow closely in this one.
2 - PAPPIE DON is a bay colt (January 20) by Sensational Slam out of Sparkling Michaela, trained by Lennis Shim with Roger Hewitt on board. Note that Pappie Don races with the blinkers on, and the figure eight on.
3 - ZULU WARRIOR is a chestnut colt (April 27) by Soul Warrior out of Lookatmenow, trained by Howard Bailey with Omar Walker holding the reins. This first timer has been moving well in the mornings. A good run is expected but not a winning one.
4 - SECRET MISSION is a bay filly (April 23) by Bern Identity out of All In, trained by Oral Hayden with Youville Pinnock riding. Has only one start to her credit. Can be safely left out.
5 - BOLD MOVE is a bay colt (April 5) by Sunshine N Shadow out of Money Move, trained by Gary Subratie with Raddesh Roman aboard. Note that Bold Move races with the tongue tie on. With two close second place finishes from his two starts, Bold Move has delivered enough to give a firm indication that he is fit and proper to handle rivals in this one.
6 - D BAY MACHINE is a chestnut colt (March 3) by Tapilu out of Lady Elaine, trained by Jason DaCosta with Josue Osorio riding. Based on his five starts to date, D Bay Machine is still way off from a winning effort.
7 - GOLDEN LAWYER is a bay colt (March 21) by Golden Ron out of The Lincoln Lawyer, trained by Patrick Lynch with Shavon Townsend on board. Still way behind these, Golden Lawyer is running for the experience.
8 - THE SOUL WARRIOR is a grey colt (March 21) by Storm Craft out of Amanda Panda, trained by Phillip Lee with Carlos Blake riding. Can only hope for a place on the board.
9 - GELROY is a chestnut colt (May 11) by Hedge Fund out of Crème De La, trained by Wilfred Chin with Marshall Porter aboard. Making his debut on his birthday. The experience gained will be valuable.
