KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jockey Reyan Lewis skillfully guided MPRS Links through a maze of horses (full field of 16) sticking close to the inside rails most of the way in the seven-furlong contest, to enter the straight perfectly poised on the rails.
Then Lewis on the Jason DaCosta trained MPRS Links, had to dig deep in the straight, as Power From Above (Dane Dawkins) pulled alongside, but MPRS found enough to get home.
That event was a three-year-old maiden call for fillies only.
MPRS Links was the second winner on the day for both Lewis and DaCosta.
