KINGSTON, Jamaica- After finishing 1 ¾ lengths second to Captain Calico over the straight (1,000m) on September 2,  Money Market returned and made no mistake riding the bend at 5 ½ furlongs (on Saturday, September 10, 2023).

Trained by Ryan Darby and ridden by Paul Francis, Money Market disputed the early with Sensational Move (Richard Henry) as the two drew away from the field in a battle of their own. Money Market assumed the lead going into the half-mile turn and began to open up on Sensational Move approaching the distance.

Money Market turned for home with a healthy lead in what appeared to be an easy win in a three-year-old (non-winners of two) and imported three-year-olds and upwards (maidens).

Sensational Move made a late challenge but Money Market was able to hold on to a half-length win at the wire. Manoushe (Dane Dawkins) finished in third place as the final time was recorded at 1:08.0 (23.0 x 46.2).
