KINGSTON, Jamaica – Miniature Man (Northern Giant – Runaway Gal) continued the two-year-old dominance thus far this season of trainer Wayne DaCosta.

Miniature Man was first to get out of the gates in the two-year-old maiden special weight contest with his jockey Anthony quickly moving the bay gelding to the outside rails in the four-furlong straight event.

For then on victory was never in doubt as Miniature Man galloped resolutely to win by over two lengths in a final time of 45.4.

Second went to the 1-5 favourite Further and Beyond (Dane Nelson) a full brother to Above and Beyond with Sure Curlin (Raddesh Roman) third.

With the win on Miniature Man, Thomas has now moved to 14 wins ahead of Nelson in the jockeys’ race.
