KINGSTON, Jamaica – With both her two and three-year-old career impeded by injuries, four-year-old bay filly by Adore The Gold – Lipstick Lilly Make Up Artist made her belated racing entry at four in impressive fashion when winning the 5 ½ furlong Caymanas Saturday second. That event was for four-year-olds maidens.
Make Up Artist ridden by Anthony Thomas for trainer Jason DaCosta who started at prohibitive odds of 1-9 went to the lead and that was that for helpless rivals.
The further they travelled, the further away went Make Up Artist, who won by 18 lengths in a pleasing time of 1:05.2.
