KINGSTON, Jamaica - The United Racehorse Trainers’ Association Trophy takes centre stage at Caymanas Park tomorrow (Saturday, November 19, 2022). The imported three-year-old and upwards (non-winners of three) and native-bred three-year-old and four-year-olds (non-winners of four) Restricted Stakes contest has attracted a field of eight runners competing over the circular course of nine furlongs and 25 yards (1,820m).

Below is the analysis of the runners.

  1. SONNY T AND CHIPPY: (3 b c by Savoy Stomp – Trinket Box) – An impressive winner over this distance on October 22,  beating rivals by 2 3/4 lengths in 1:59.3. Sonny T and Chippy is a lover of two turn races and given his running style, he can make it two wins on the trot. Will hit the board.
  1. REAL BOSS (USA): (3 ch f by Tonalist – Hisse) – Lightly raced filly who finished in last place behind Perfect Brew over this distance on October 8. Real Boss looked like a much-improved runner at exercise and is expected to put in a better performance.
  1. SUNSET SILHOUTTE: (3 b f by Northern Giant – Ahwhofah) – Finished third behind D Head Cornerstone over one mile on November 5. Sunset Silhoutte, however, was in front of him when they met over this distance on October 6. Sunset Silhoutte is poised for another good effort, but not a winning one.
  1. PELICULA: (3 b f by Soul Warrior – Milestone) – Lacks the class of the majority of these and can only fight for is unfavourable.
  1. D HEAD CORNERSTONE: (3 b c by Bern Identity – Soul Of The Heart) – Easily defeated rivals at this level on November 5 over a distance of one mile (1,600m). D Head Cornerstone then won by 3 ½ lengths in a time of 1:40.2. D Head Cornerstone seems to be the type that prefers racing out of the chute, yet is more that sufficiently endowed to put away these.
  1. RAINSVILLE: (3 gr g by Casual Trick – Fiftyshadesofray) – Finished off the board when coming to this level on November 5. Rainsville faces the same opposition and little or no improvement is expected from him.
  1. THE CITADEL: (3 ch g by Key To Power – Wings of Hope) – Was expected to figure on November 5 when finishing down the track behind the D Head Cornerstone. The Citadel was coming off a near four-month break and needed that run. The Citadel, no, could take a hand in the outcome. Note, The Citadel
  1. I REALISE: (3 b g by Northern Giant – Regina Royale) – Came off nearly a five-month break to finish second behind D Head Cornerstone on November 5 after leading for most of the way. With that run under his grit and much fitter for this, I Realise could go all the way.
