KINGSTON, Jamaica – The fifth race on Sunday, March 12, 2023, a three-year-old maiden condition call for fillies only. The distance is 6 ½ furlongs.

The assessment of the 10 horses nominated by The Quick Galloper is provided below.

– TEQUILA FLIGHT is a grey (April 3) by Speith out of Alice and Trixie trained by Anthony Nunes with Phillip Parchment in the saddle. Facing the starter for the first time, Tequila Flight is growing in her work at exercise. In this wide-open maiden contest, Tequila Flight cannot be ruled out.

– LION CHARMER is a chestnut (March 29) by Lion Tamer out of Charmin Beauty trained by Patrick Lynch with Samantha Fletcher in the saddle. Highly touted on debut (February 26) but apart from showing up early was never a winning factor. An improved effort can be anticipated on Sunday. Note, Lion Charmer races with the figure 8 on, and first-time Lasix.

– WOW HOW is a bay (February 3) by Perfect Curlin out of Sarah Barracuda trained by Anthony Nunes with Tevin Foster aboard. Made her debut on February and was not a factor. Should have gained from that first run, with a better performance as the likely outcome.

– SHE’S STYLISH is a bay (May 24) by Stylish Jac out of Janet Classic trained by Nicholas Smith with Bebeto Harvey aboard. This first-timer will gain needed experience.

– JUBBIE WAP WAP is a grey (April 19) by Speith out of Wap trained by Michael Thomas with Ramon Nepare aboard. Made her debut seven days ago finishing in the ruck. No improvement is on the cards.

– IT’S PLUMMY is a grey (April 25) by Speith out of Milestone face the starter for the first time 8 days ago, without rattling any feathers. The learning curve continues for It’s Plummy. Note, It’s Plummy races with the figure eight on.

– ATOMIC ENERGY is a chestnut (February 5) by Patton Proud out of Nuclear Girl trained by Gary Subratie with Dane Dawkins aboard. Not ready as yet.

– KISSMET is a bay (March 30) by Adios Charlie out of Holy Cowgirl trained by Steven Todd with Raddesh Roman in the saddle. Kissmet was unlucky on last (February 26), when despite a winning performance was disqualified and placed out of the race. That run proved the capabilities of Kissmet, who was running on well in the final of the 5 ½ furlongs. Now going a furlong extra, Kissmet will be hard to deny.

– ANSWER MY PRAYERS is a bay (May 24) by Casual Trick out of Great Faith trained by Gary Subratie with Raddesh Roman in the saddle. Gained attention when last on the track (February 26), finishing third behind disqualified Kissmet and Natural Dancer. That effort signalled the advancement of Answer My Prayers, who should be among those deciding this one.

– BELLA SOUL is a bay (January 19) by Soul Warrior out of Lady Belridge trained by Gary Subratie. Will learn.
