Three wins from four starts for US importee
KINGSTON, Jamaica – US import Jordon Reign’s (Dane Dawkins) earned his third win from four starts in what was nothing more than a zippy stroll down the five-straight course.
Jordon’s Reign’s capped a triple on the day for Dawkins, who had already won aboard Atomica and Mister A.
Trained by Ian Parsard, Jordon Reign’s third victory was accomplished in a four-year-old and upwards (non-winners of four for local horses), and a non-winners of three for foreigners.
Dawkins kept Jordon Reign's with the pack from the start. Coming on the race track proper, Dawkins decided that enough was enough, with a change of hold, and by bringing out the whip in the left hand. Jordon Reign’s responded by quickening his gallop, going on to win by 5 ¾ lengths in a fast final time of 58.3 seconds.
I’ve Got Magic (Everton Miller) was second with Sweet N Smart (Tevin Foster) in the third slot.
