KINGSTON, Jamaica – Anngelos, a chance ride for jockey Paul Francis, sprinted clear of rivals in the final furlong to win the third of 11 races on the Caymanas Sunday card.
Anngelos trained by Errol Waugh, bided her time under Francis' guidance and when early leader Ultimatum (Dane Dawkins) started to falter in the final furlong, pounced quickly to take the lead and that was that for the rest winning by 1 ½ lengths.
Ultimatum (Dane Dawkins) finished second with Nydan (Jordan Barrett) in the third slot.
