Jockey severely cautioned, trainer fined $10,000
The Stewards announce the following disciplinary actions arising from inquiries held at the offices of the Jamaica Racing Commission, 8 Winchester Road, Kingston 10, on Tuesday, 15th February, 2022.
Jockey OSHADANE ROBINSON who rode DWAYNE STAR in the tenth (10) race on Saturday, 8th January, 2022, was severely cautioned for his failure to dismount the horse which was lame in a timely manner.
Trainer RYAN WILLIAMS was fined Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) for his behaviour in the steward’s room on Sunday 30th January, 2022, which they ruled was a breach of Rule 247A (iv).
