The much talked about and highly anticipated clash of foreigners—Dothraki and Incredible Jo—takes centre stage on the nine-race card of Sunday, October 19, 2025.
The two meet in the ninth event, an Overnight Allowance sprint over 5 ½ furlongs. The Quick Galloper’s analysis is presented below in draw order.
1 – PRINCE AMAAN
Currently holding decent form, Prince Amaan is expected to deliver another solid performance. While not among the leading contenders, a top-four finish is within reach if he breaks well and maintains rhythm.
2 – A GIFT FROM BEN
A seasoned veteran whose best days may be behind him. A Gift From Ben faces a tough assignment here and will need every ounce of grit to stay competitive. Races with tongue tie and cheek pieces.
3 – TEFLON DON
Faces a steep climb against this field. Teflon Don has yet to prove he can match strides with rivals of this calibre and is likely to struggle.
4 – CHOCOMO
Returns from three consecutive outings against top-tier opponents. Now back at a level where he’s more than capable, Chocomo is a live contender for exotic wagers and could surprise with a late burst.
5 – DIGITAL ONE
Drops into Overnight Allowance where conditions are more favourable. This talented importee has shown flashes of brilliance and now gets a chance to assert herself. Digital One must be taken seriously and rates a strong winning chance.
6 – UNCAPTURED EMPRESS
New to this class and facing a baptism of fire. Uncaptured Empress has potential but will likely find this group too demanding at this stage.
7 – BULLETPROOFCOFFEE
Has built a respectable record since entering Overnight Allowance in April. However, his best work has come on the straight course, and the bend may blunt his edge. Needs more time to develop around turns.
8 – DOTHRAKI
A four-year-old bay colt by Into Mischief out of Vanquished, Dothraki arrives with a US record of one win from three starts. After a single 2025 outing, he was imported for the Mouttet Mile. Now making his local Overnight Allowance debut, Dothraki is still acclimating to Jamaican racing. Previously trained by Bob Baffert and galloped alongside the well-regarded Barnes, he’s working well in the mornings. This run will reveal much about his local potential. The intrigue is real.
9 – TRAIN OF THOUGHT
Outclassed in this line-up. Train of Thought will need a dramatic turnaround to factor meaningfully.
10 – INCREDIBLE JO
The return of Incredible Jo has stirred excitement. This three-year-old bay colt by Improbable out of Titanium Jo resumes after a 148-day layoff due to injury. Trained by Adrian Prince, he boasts three consecutive wins from four starts, including a blistering 58.3 seconds over five furlongs straight. In two of those victories, he left Supernatural Power—fourth in the Gold Cup—trailing by a staggering 23 lengths. If fit and firing, Incredible Jo is the one they’ll all have to catch.
THE QUICK GALLOPER’S VERDICT
Incredible Jo, if anywhere near peak condition, holds the edge with class and speed to dominate. Digital One is the main danger, while Chocomo and Dothraki offer value in the exotics. The clash of foreigners adds flair, but the returning local star may steal the show.a
