The second race on Saturday, June 6, 2026, is framed for native-bred three and four-year-olds at the non-winners of four level, and for foreigners three-year-old and up at the non-winners of three stage.
Six runners have been nominated to face the starter over five furlongs round.

1 – PUROSANGUE (USA)
Three-year-old chestnut colt (February 24) by Made From Lucky out of Ramanisempreforte

Purosangue finally broke his maiden tag on May 23, showing determination to get the job done. Yet, his overall profile suggests a preference for longer trips where stamina can be brought into play. Five furlongs round is expected to be too sharp for him, and he may find himself outpaced in the
early exchanges.
2 – UNCLE NALLY
Three-year-old bay colt (May 27) by Successful Native out of Kit De Luca Trainer – Robert Pearson
Jockey – Shaheem Gordon

Uncle Nally showed promise when finishing second in age-group company last time. However, this assignment pits him against seasoned foreigners, and that step up in class is likely to expose his limitations. He will need significant improvement to trouble the principals.
3 – MIDNIGHT TRAVELLER
Three-year-old chestnut filly by Aveenu Malcainu out of Esperanza
Trainer – Jason DaCosta
Jockey – Calvin Bailey
Midnight Traveller enters this contest with little realistic chance of success. She is clearly outclassed at this level and appears to be included more as a supporting act for her stable’s stronger contenders.
4 – PHENOMENAL POWER (USA)
Three-year-old bay colt (March 7) by Violence out of Drinking Dixie
Trainer – Philip Feanny
Jockey – Raddesh Roman
Phenomenal Power returns after a 108-day break, having won his first two starts impressively, including a victory over Pepper Stepper at 5 ½ furlongs. Since then, he has changed stables but remains highly regarded by connections. While fitness after the layoff is a slight concern, his natural ability and proven class make him a formidable opponent. If he arrives fit and ready, Phenomenal Power will be very difficult to deny.
5 – RALPHS TREASURE (USA)
Four-year-old bay colt by Honest Mischief out of Belleza
Trainer – Gary Subratie
Jockey – Dane Dawkins
Equipment – Figure 8 on
Ralphs Treasure has shown consistency in his efforts, often running honest races. However, against rivals of this calibre, he may find himself out of his depth. His reliability is noted, but class may prove the decisive factor here.
6 – PEPPER STEPPER (USA)
Three-year-old bay colt (February 2) by Tunwoo out of Ribbing
Trainer – Jason DaCosta
Jockey – Robert Halledeen
Pepper Stepper looked ordinary in his early starts but transformed dramatically on May 9, when he blitzed rivals over 5 ½ furlongs, winning by five lengths in a sharp 1:06.4 clocking. Since that breakthrough, his morning gallops have been strong, confirming his progress. With speed and confidence now on his side, Pepper Stepper is expected to be very hard to catch.
