KINGSTON, Jamaica - Following victory in the five-furlong straight Reggae Trophy on Saturday, May 4, 2024, foreigner Is That A Fact, increased his earnings tally to approximately $4.5 million.
With that amount Is That A Fact has once again jumped to the top of the 2024 earnings list. Thus far this season, Is That A Fact has raced five times, with three wins and two second-place finishes.
Next in line to Is That A Fact in the second spot is the current Horse of the Year, Atomica whose three starts in 2024 have produced two wins and a second-place effort.
KP Choice, who hovers sometimes in claiming and sometimes in Overnight has had seven starts thus far this season and has visited the winners’ enclosure on four occasions.
Making the earnings list for the first time are the recent three-year-old winners of The Kingston - Intrestntimesahead, and The Portmore - Run Julie Run. Intrestntimesahead occupies the fourth spot with $2.5 million plus, achieved from two starts and two wins, while Run Julie Run has earned $1.8 million for tenth place.
