It is with deep sorrow that we acknowledge the passing of former jockey Donovan Lindo, affectionately known on the local track as “Bug Lindo.” He departed this life on December 17, at the age of 71.
A proud graduate of the renowned Eileen Cliggott stables, Lindo was part of a generation of riders nurtured under Cliggott’s guidance, alongside names such as Vassel Najair, Richard Depass, and Karl Brown. His contribution to the sport and his presence within the racing community will be remembered with respect and gratitude.
A service of thanksgiving and celebration of his life was scheduled today, Saturday, December 27, in Georgia, USA.
