The second staging of the Gregory Park Sprint is the highlight of the ten -race card on Saturday, March 28, 2026.
The Gregory Park Sprint is for three-year-old and up horses at the Open Allowance.
Seven horses have been entered to compete over five furlongs round.
The Quick Galloper’s analysis is provided for the benefit of readers on this website.
1 – FLORINDIA (USA)
After a break, Florindia returned under new management to capture success in Overnight Allowance (February 28). In that seven-furlong run, Florindia led from the start with ease. In the Gregory Park, Florindia meets seasoned sprinters, with a fierce battle expected.
2 – CALIFORNIA CROWN
A pure sprinter in this line-up. California Crown’s last three outings were against Grade One rivals, and now dropping in class should prove advantageous, especially with the figure eight removed.
3 – MONEY MARKET
This locally bred runner has shown consistency across his last eight races. With speed expected to dominate early, Money Market could bide his time and strike late if the pace collapses.
4 – ZULU WARRIOR
Progressing well since stepping into this class. Zulu Warrior finished seven lengths ahead of Money Market when they last met over 5 ½ furlongs on March 7. He can track the leaders and deliver a strong finish in the straight.
5 – TEFLON DON
After being beaten at this distance by She’s That Girl, Teflon Don rebounded with an Overnight win. However, stepping up to Open Allowance presents a tougher challenge.
6 – SHE’S THAT GIRL
The speed force in this contest. Since returning from a long break on March 1, She’s That Girl has raced twice and won both, displaying blistering pace. She is in peak form and will be the one to catch, though other speedsters loom.
7 – WALL STREET TRADER
Scored over his preferred 6 ½ furlongs in Overnight Allowance on February 18. Then stepped up in class, finishing third behind proven performers Funcaandun and Supernatural Power. Back at his level, Wall Street Trader can sit close to the pace and unleash late.
CONCLUSION
The Gregory Park Sprint promises a clash of speed with multiple front-runners in the mix. She’s That Girl enters as the standout pace-setter, but Florindia, Zulu Warrior, and Wall Street Trader all bring credible threats. Money Market’s consistency and late kick could prove decisive if the leaders falter, making this a wide-open and thrilling contest.
