KINGSTON, Jamaica – The golden moment on the Gold Cup race day was produced in the ninth as Ali and Baltusrol dead-heated for first place in the Restricted Allowance 11 event for three-year-olds – non winners of two run over six furlongs.

Both horses, Ali (Kiaman McGregor) trained by Gary Subratie and Baltusrol (Reyan Leiws) trained by Anthony Nunes came from well off the pace to meet up with about half-a-furlong to go and they could not be separated even by the photo-finish camera.

Kingsman (Christopher Mamdeen) was third.
