KINGSTON, Jamaica - Following the win by his charge Funcaandun in the Philip Feanny Gold Cup on Saturday, October 5, 2024, trainer Jason DaCosta in his post-race interview revealed that Funcaandun was not 100 per cent ready for the event.
DaCosta added that the Gold Cup was allotted as a prep run for Funcaandun going into the Jamaica Cup.
