KINGSTON, Jamaica – After five previous starts in which she promised much, Sweet Toppins was finally able to release the maiden tag moments ago in the first of 11 races on today’s (Saturday, September 12) card at Caymanas Park.

Starting at the prohibitive odds on 1-9 favourite, Sweet Toppins ridden by Anthony Thomas and trained by Wayne DaCosta, went to the lead in the three-year-old maiden contest run over nine furlongs and 25 yards and that was that for her nine rivals.

It was a stroll in the park for Sweet Toppins who won by a huge 16 lengths.

Second went to Zabratone (Dick Cardenas) and third was the position occupied by Gambler (Javaniel Patterson).
